Farewell Sue Nitz
For nearly 13 years Sue Nitz has served the church in our front office, and next week
we will sadly see her off to new adventures and new discoveries. Her last day at OSLC is July 2.
Sue began her tenure here when her youngest son entered kindergarten. She was
looking for a job that would allow her the flexibility to participate in school activities with her three children, give
her the ability to continue serving with the Sun Prairie EMS, and fill her days with productive work. Her youngest graduated
from high school a few weeks ago.
Over the years she has helped set
office policies, kept staff on the straight and narrow, and shared her common sense wisdom. All these are rooted in
a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Sue was in the first OSLC group that completed the synod's Lay School.
Sue is moving to the Milwaukee area where her husband, Bill, works for Master Lock.
Farewell faithful servant and friend. May the Lord bless you, Sue. Keep
in touch. Serve the Lord. Be the disciple you already are.
