Our Savior's Lutheran Church

Celebrating 50 years of serving the Lord in Sun Prairie

In 1958 a small group of Lutherans decided to take the risk and start a church.  The Lord blessed them in their endeavors, and now those humble beginnings the congregation was recognized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1959.  Since then, Our savior's has turned into a vital ministry in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.  Led by the Holy Spirit, these courageous men and women planted a congregation that has blossomed beyond their dreams.

From May 2009 through April of 2010 we will celebrate our blessings and give thanks to the Lord.  Several activities are planned for the year including a church picnic, guest preachers, and an anniversary cookbook.  Members and quests are invited to join in the fun throughout the year.

Church picnic and great time

On a perfect afternoon on Sunday, May 31, over 100 OSLC members and friends joined together in a fun filled church picnic.  Good food, a family friendly park, and games for everyone meant that the fellowship of believers all felt good about the joy they find in the Lord.
